I need to buy a blender this weekend to replace the Ninja. I have been comparing the Cuisinart and the Kitchen aid. . . .ahhhhh!!!!!!!!! Which one to buy is like eny meny miny mo!!!
I have come to realize that the best thing that I have added to my life is green smoothies. I have not had one today and I feel miserable without it.
I am also trying to decide if I should do the weight watchers points or just count calories. Both will be work and require thinking ahead and planning. I guess that I really need to put both of these matters in prayer and get The Great Counsel on what to do.
Going to charge my phone and ipod touch.

Just for me. . . a weight loss journey.
I decided to start using this site in a way that will help me in my journey toward becoming more of the person I want to be. This year so far (at my last weigh in 10/30) I have lost 24 lbs. My starting weight was 280 and I last weighed in at 256. This weight loss thing has quite a number of challenges but I have come to realize that this is a journey and I have tons to learn as I travel along.
1. I stopped eating meat in May and I stopped eating refined sugar in September. That is just the beginning.
2. I have been eating vegetarian most of this year and I am tired of salads. I was trying to go raw but it is too hard in the cooler months as I want warm food. I have been told that raw soups are great and I am sure they are . . .but. . .I want warm food!!! That is okay because I will grow to want less and less of the foods that are cooked over time. . . . . . .
3. It takes a while to detox your body. There is no once and done. I have gone through many waves of detoxification over the past few months!! It is a deeper and deeper cell work that is going to take some time as I learn more and more how to eat for my lifestyle.
4. Exercise is my friend and I love it. My body on the other hand fights me almost daily as I feel the aches and pains of new muscles forming and toxins leaving.
5. Funds are LIMITED!!!! I want a vitamix, champion juicer, and food processor but. . . Funds are LIMITED!!! My blender broke on Thanksgiving day and on black Friday I bought a Ninja. It is not good for green smoothies! I am taking it back this Saturday and getting a different type of blender because I need my smoothies to be creamy and go down without to many bits and pieces. That is a journey in itself. I have resolved to be creative with my money by just getting a 1000 watt blender to start and saving up for a juicer and food processor. The vitamix will have to wait.
I am 47 years old and I want to be in the best health of my life by the time I am 50. That gives me 3 years to explore, travel, discover and enjoy this journey and I want to do it in a journal of some sort. That is why I am writing this blog.
I probably will post pictures and videos as well as blog on the regular. This is just about my weight loss and I haven't even begun to talk about my hair!! That is another natural journey that I have had ups and downs with.
Okay TTYL!
